Alanis Morissette has announced the new schedule for her Manila concert, which is now happening on December 7 and 8, 2021 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay.
The “Hand in My Pocket” singer was originally scheduled to perform in Manila on April 6 and 7, but postponed the shows due to the coronavirus pandemic. She last performed in Manila in 1996., which was released in 1995. The album was the Canadian singer’s first record to be released worldwide, and carries such immortal tracks as “Head over Feet,” “Ironic,” and “You Oughta Know.”
The album won 5 Grammy awards including the top honor, Album of the Year. It is also inspired a Broadway musical, which opened in New York in December.Local producers Ovation Productions said that tickets bought for the original show will be honored, but those who want to claim a refund can contact ticket provider SM Tickets by September 30.
