Remedy Entertainment's Sam Lake has teased post-launch plans for Alan Wake 2, revealing that free Alan Wake 2 DLC will be 'pretty significant.'

Alan Wake 2 finally comes to Xbox Series X|S on October 27, and ahead of the game's release, creative director Sam Lake has been teasing that some 'pretty significant' free Alan Wake 2 DLC will be coming to the survival horror title. Speaking at EGX , Lake said, 'We do have free DLC drops coming and they are pretty significant. 'I’m expecting us to be going more into detail pretty soon after the game is out, but all of that will be free for everyone who gets the game.

Unsurprisingly, we don't know much about those yet, nor do we have any news on the Alan Wake 2 achievements. Remedy has also confirmed that Alan Wake 2 will be a digital-only release and that the survival horror game will feature a performance mode on Series X but not on Series S.
