Qantas Chief Executive Alan Joyce has remained tight-lipped on how Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s son received access to the airline’s exclusive Chairman’s Lounge.

Mr Joyce on Monday fronted a cost-of-living committee when he was asked about the controversial membership by Greens Senator Penny Allman-Payne. “Again, I will not comment on the Chairman's lounge, I will not comment on who’s in or who isn’t in… there are privacy issues with that,” he replied. Liberal Senator Jane Hume also sought to remind the committee that it would be for appropriate Senators to declare whether or not they are members of the Chairman’s Lounge.
