Alan Carr's 'feud' with ex-husband over BFF Adele explained after they ‘divvied up celeb pals’
Alan Carr has been slammed by his ex-husband Paul Drayton, after the comedian said he'd won "custody" of superstar singer Adele amid the pair's split.
During an appearance on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown on Channel 4 last summer, Alan made light of the split as he said he and Paul had "divvied up their celebrity friends" and that he had "won custody of Adele", who officiated their wedding in 2019 at her LA mansion. Paul continued: "I sent Adele the same clip and she replied, 'Just take the high road, babe,' meaning just ignore it. She is amazing at giving advice, she really is. I know that whenever I need her, she will be there for me because she’s a loyal friend and an incredible person."During his 8 Out of 10 Cats appearance, Alan said: "'I’ve gone through a really spiteful, messy divorce. My ex’s lawyer said take half of everything, look at that.
"Obviously, people want to know about . . . we’ve divvied up our celebrity friends. I get custody of Adele. Paul gets Gok at the weekends."
