The Dons have gone nine years without a trophy but Burrows is keen to see that run come to an end.
Alan Burrows insists that Aberdeen fans aren't living in the past - and that they should be demanding silverware soon with a League Cup semi-final to contend with.
But with Burrows taking over as CEO over the past 12 months, the Pittodrie outfit have already seen a European journey take its course, and being in the semi-finals of the League Cup, there is a real chance to win their first trophy in a decade with Celtic out of the reckoning. And Burrows has dispelled the myth that Dons fans are stuck in the past as he aims to take the club through to a new era of success.
“As far as I can see, they want to have a team which is challenging at the top end of the table , which gets to the latter stages of cup competitions – semi-finals and finals – and dares to dream of winning silverware at Hampden. And they expect the team to be trying to perform in European tournaments and be competitive there.
