ABC NEWS: Well, now that you finally have the ability to do your job, what's on your agenda for the city? What’s first up? And then there are municipal elections next year, and he and his new town council will be in charge of holding the first ever elections in Newbern for mayor and town council. And it's also part of the settlement agreement that the court has jurisdiction over this case. So the court will see to it that elections are held next year at the very least.
