Alabama’s small tech businesses can apply for up to $250,000 in grant money through a new program from the Alabama Innovation Corp.
Alabama-based recipients of Phase I and Phase II Federal Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer grants are eligible to apply. Phase I recipients are eligible to apply for 50% of their award, up to $100,000, while Phase II recipients can apply for 50% of their award, up to $250,000.Applications are due by 5 p.m. on Aug. 1, with award notifications for the first round of funding beginning Aug. 22.
