Alabama sending more soldiers to southern border

Gov. Kay Ivey announced that Alabama is deploying an additional 125 soldiers to the southern border.

Alabama currently has 269 soldiers at the southern border. These soldiers are from the 226th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade in Mobile and the 158th Surface Maintenance Company headquartered in Tallassee. These two companies will begin the process of returning from the mission in phases.
