Alabama's head coach is apparently locked in during games at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
Speaking during his Monday press conference, DeBoer said he hadn’t yet noticed one of the Crimson Tide’s most prominent gameday traditions., I still haven’t really experienced it,” DeBoer said. “I don’t know when — I thought it was supposed to happen between the third quarter and the fourth quarter, but it must happen another time. So the lights go out, and I’m thinking it’s going to happen, and it doesn’t happen. So I’m still learning myself.
Alabama’s crowd was out in full force for Saturday’s matchup with Georgia, where the Crimson Tide squandered a 30-7 halftime lead before eking out a thrilling victory late. DeBoer made sure to give the UA faithful their due on Monday. Alabama fans have a week off before getting to fill the stadium again. The Crimson Tide travel to Vanderbilt on Saturday, before returning to Bryant-Denny on Oct. 12.
