) - As the Crimson Tide begins bowl preparations for their game against Michigan later this month, quarterback Jalen Milroe can add another accolade to his list of accomplishments.
The William V. Campbell Trophy, awarded every year since 1990, recognizes both accomplishments on the football field as well in academics. Milroe was one of 16 finalists for the award and is only the second player in program history to win, joining former Alabama center Barrett Jones who won the trophy in 2012.
Milroe, a two-year captain for the Tide, is a management major who graduated cum laude in Dec. 2023 and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in sports management.
