Alabama's Jalen Milroe was rewarded for his efforts against Wisconsin.
Saturday, helping the Crimson Tide to a 42-10 win with three passing and two rushing touchdowns. On Monday, he was rewarded for his efforts, and was named the SEC’s offensive player of the week, the league announced.
“Every time I get to touch the football field, I’m just very blessed,” Milroe said after Saturday’s win. “Very passionate about the game of football. So whenever we have an opportunity to make it explosive, it’s all about having fun. Falling back to why I play the game, just to have fun.” The Wisconsin game was Alabama’s first road matchup of the season and of Kalen DeBoer’s tenure as head coach. It was also the Tide’s first game against a Power 4 opponent
“Jalen in those moments finding a way to get in the end zone finding the receiver, throwing the ball accurately, those have been, certainly, quality plays by him,” Sheridan said. “The best thing about Jalen is he’s always trying to improve.”
