A security guard employed at an Alabama state prison facility is now, herself, behind bars, according to the Alabama Department of Corrections.
) - Elmore Correctional Facility security guard Alesia Jarrett , 22, was taken into custody on Tuesday.
Agents from the ADOC’s Law Enforcement Services Division , with help from K9 and Security Threat Group personnel, arrested Jarrett on charges related to narcotics trafficking. ADOC said the woman was under investigation for suspected drug smuggling into the correctional facility and was found in possession of approximately 250 grams of methamphetamine.Elmore Correctional Facility security guard Alesia Jarrett was taken into custody on Tuesday on drug smuggling charges.
