Hartsfield says that they appreciated the work lawmakers have done in the past to improve the quality of life for children and families. The data book also show initiatives like the Alabama Literacy and Numeracy Acts have made a big difference. It also highlights the Alabama Network of Family Resource Centers as a resource that is working in the state.
