The Akron-Summit Council on Holocaust & Genocide will host an educational seminar and panel discussion on Tuesday, Oct. 15. The seminar, “Echoes of the Holocaust: Antisemitism Then and Now,” will discuss the history of antisemitism, its ongoing impact and actions that can be taken to address it.AKRON, Ohio – The Akron-Summit Council on Holocaust & Genocide will host an educational seminar and panel discussion on Tuesday, Oct. 15 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Barb White will lead the discussion. White serves as the curator of the Akron-Summit Council on Holocaust and Genocide Education’s resource list for educators. She has served as an Akron-Summit Holocaust Arts and Writing Contest judge for 20 years, according to a news release.. Both the in-person and virtual events are free and open to the public. The Akron-Summit County Public Library Auditorium is located at 60 S. High St.
