Police are searching for two suspects after the robberies in the Highland Square and Chapel Hill neighborhoods.

AKRON, Ohio — A man claiming to have a bomb robbed a bank in the Highland Square neighborhood, while another man armed with a handgun robbed a bank in the Chapel Hill neighborhood a day later, police say.
At about 9:30 a.m. Saturday, another man entered the Chase Bank on the 1800 block of Brittain Road, police say. A clerk tells police the suspect, armed with a handgun, jumped over the counter, ordered everyone on the floor and demanded money. Detectives and agents with the FBI are investigating the robbery. No arrests have been made in either incident.
