Summit County Common Pleas Court records show Forrest Horvath, 36, pleaded guilty in December to one count of abduction and one count of gross sexual imposition, both felonies.

AKRON, Ohio — An Akron man was sentenced Thursday to two years in prison after he pleaded guilty to charges connected to the sexual assault of a woman outside an apartment complex in Cuyahoga Falls.

According to prosecutors and court records, the victim met Horvath at a bus stop in Akron on July 1, 2024. Horvath and the woman took a bus to Cuyahoga Falls and got off together. Prosecutors say that once Horvath and the victim were behind the building, Horvath attacked the woman and began sexually assaulting her. The woman began screaming and bystanders responded, pulling Horvath off the victim.
