For the 42nd year, Akron Children’s Hospital will host the Holiday Tree Festival Nov. 11-19 at the John S. Knight Center. Admission is free.

Some 150 beautifully decorated trees will be on display at the Akron Children’s Hospital’s 42nd annual Holiday Tree Festival Nov. 11-19. Admission is free for the festival, and items on display will be for sale following the event. Event proceeds will benefit medical research, education and patient care at Akron Children’s Hospital. Admission is free for the event, which features 150 beautifully decorated trees, 80 wreaths and 175 other holiday gift items.

Since the festival was founded in 1982, it has raised more than $7 million to benefit the hospital’s medical research, education and patient care programs. Last year’s event raised more than $270,000, according to the hospital. “For 42 years, the Holiday Tree Festival has been a holiday tradition for families in Akron and the surrounding communities,” said Mary Leuca, festival chairperson, in a news release. “We hope the community enjoys this beautiful display as we welcome the 2023 holiday season.”

A ribbon-cutting event with family friendly activities will signal the beginning of the festival on Saturday, Nov. 11 at 10 a.m.Sunday, Nov. 12: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.Sunday, Nov. 19: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.If you purchase a product or register for an account through a link on our site, we may receive compensation.
