Ahli Jawatan Kuasa Sinodal Paroki St Anthony, menganjurkan Rekoleksi Pemimpin Awam dan Pelayan Umat yang dihadiri seramai 173 peserta, pada April 22 lalu.
Bertempat di Gereja St Anthony, para peserta tersebut terdiri daripada barisan Majlis Pastoral Paroki, Komuniti Umat Katolik, Komuniti Kristian Dasar, Komiti-komiti Gereja dan Kerasulan.Paderi itu menyampaikan input seperti “Siapa saya ?”, ”Road to Emmaus”, “Peranan Pemimpin Awam dan Pelayan Umat” dan “Cabaran Dalam Pelayanan dan Cara Mengatasinya.”
Kebanyakan respon mereka yang menyertai sangat positif dan mereka mengakui sesi-sesi yang disampaikan dalam rekoleksi itu sangat membantu mereka dalam menghadapi cabaran dalam pelayanan. Para peserta juga menyertai Misa Kudus Senja yang dipimpin oleh Fr Ronnie Luni, Paderi Paroki St Anthony, Tenom. Kemudian, selepas Misa, para peserta meneruskan program Malam Sinodal di Dewan Msgr.Watcher dengan pelbagai acara yang telah diatur.
