An Airdrie beautician who suffered horror injuries following an accident in Bali has undergone further surgery as her battle to return to the UK continues.

She underwent another surgery last week which saw medics remove some skin from her hand after it turned gangrene.READ MORE: Glasgow motorists baffled as man in suit spotted running along M8 "We have a medical team flying over who will be with us on Tuesday and the hope will be we can get Charlene fit enough to fly.

"As soon as we have any confirmation or any sign of getting her back to the UK I will update you all."Charlene had been living and working on Bali for the last six months but she was rushed to hospital after the horror accident left her badly injured
