AirAsia to add 11,400 fixed-fare seats to Sabah, Sarawak for Hari Raya

SEPANG: A total of 11,400 AirAsia seats to east Malaysia states will be offered at fixed fares in conjunction with the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations this year.

The Transport Minister said that the campaign would be the second after the airline launched the same campaign for Chinese New Year in January.

He said the fixed fares will enable thousands of people to ‘balik kampung’ and reunite with their nearest and dearest in an affordable manner. The flights from Kuala Lumpur and Johor Baru are fixed at RM199 to Sarawak and RM2099 to Sabah and the value fares would serve Kuching, Sibu, Bintulu and Miri in Sarawak and to Kota Kinabalu, Sandakan and Tawau in Sabah.
