PETALING JAYA: Air Selangor says a burst pipe at the Bukit Indah Industrial Park in Sungai Buloh has led to unscheduled water cuts for 83 areas in Gombak and Kuala Lumpur.
In a Facebook post Sunday , Air Selangor said repair works on the burst pipe had begun at 9am on Sunday and were expected to be completed by 10pm the same day.
It added that water supply would return gradually to the areas affected once the repair works were completed. "Alternative assistance via water tanker lorries is being mobilised to the affected areas, giving priority to critical premises such as hospitals, clinics, dialysis centres and burial ceremonies throughout the disruption period," the post read.
Air Selangor added that the public can refer to its social media accounts or call the Air Selangor Contact Centre at 15300 for the latest information. Inquiries and complaints can also be submitted at the Help Centre via www.airselangor.com and the Air Selangor application.
