Water cuts are expected in Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya, Klang, Shah Alam, Kuala Selangor, Hulu Selangor, Gombak and Kuala Langat.
PETALING JAYA: The operations of four water treatment plants in Selangor have been suspended after state-owned Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd detected odour pollution today at 7pm. As a result, the subsidiary of Air Selangor said water cuts were expected in Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya, Klang, Shah Alam, Kuala Selangor, Hulu Selangor, Gombak and Kuala Langat.
In a statement, it said Air Selangor had lodged a report with Selangor Water Management Authority for further action.“Air Selangor will make an announcement on the water cuts from time to time,” it said, advising consumers not to waste water.
