KUALA LUMPUR: Analysis by US experts of the cockpit voice recorder (CVR) belonging to the ill-fated Beechcraft 390 aircraft which crashed near the Elmina Township in Shah Alam will begin Monday (Aug 28), says Anthony Loke.
The Transport Minister said the delay was due to the need to get visa approvals for the Air Accident Investigation Bureau team who were in charge of transporting the CVR's memory puck.
"This is due to the US government's strict security policies when it comes to maintaining the secrecy of their aircraft components," he told a press conference here on Thursday .
