Exclusive: Ahsoka's Mary Elizabeth Winstead shares Ewan McGregor's advice about joining StarWars and wants to team up with ObiWanKenobi:
Mary Elizabeth Winstead shares advice her husband, Ewan McGregor, gave her about joining the Star Wars universe in Ahsoka. Winstead will play Hera Syndulla in her live-action debut after the character was first introduced in the animated series Rebels. Hera also appeared at a much younger age in The Bad Batch.
Both McGregor and Winstead took on the roles of beloved established characters, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Hera Syndulla. Screen Rant spoke with Winstead after the Ahsoka panel at Star Wars Celebration. McGregor's advice seems to be less about acting and more about enjoying the community Winstead is becoming a part of. Winstead also says she would love to share an adventure with McGregor in a galaxy far, far away if possible.

Could Hera Syndulla And Obi-Wan Ever Share The Screen? Hera Syndulla is Twi'lek from Ryloth and the daughter of Cham Syndulla, a leader and warrior who fought to protect Ryloth during the Clone Wars. Hera eventually became a pilot and joined the Rebellion, fighting against the oppression of the Empire. She was one of the leaders of the Ghost Crew alongside Kanan Jarrus, a former Jedi Padawan and Hera's beloved.
The possibility of a crossover between Obi-Wan and Hera may be difficult, but not necessarily impossible. Flashbacks to Hera's time with the Rebellion could show interactions with Obi-Wan, especially given both their ties to Ahsoka. Another possibility is the World Between Worlds realm that seems to be shown in the Ahsoka trailer. This realm allows those who enter to walk between worlds and time, which could lead to surprise interactions by characters that were otherwise impossible.
