Ahead of next year's debut of Ahsoka, actor Natasha Liu Bordizzo shares a sweet post celebrating her Star Wars journey as the live-action Mandalorian warrior Sabine Wren.
Ahsoka star Natasha Liu Bordizzo takes to social media to celebrate her Star Wars journey as the live-action Sabine Wren. Ahsoka Tano has been a part of the long-running science-fiction franchise since her debut with the animated film Star Wars: The Clones Wars.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY As the Star Wars franchise began to shift to Disney+ with The Mandalorian, Ahsoka also made the jump to live-action with Rosario Dawson portraying the hero in two episodes of The Mandalorian season 2 and on an episode of The Book of Boba Fett. Bordizzo will join Dawson in Ahsoka, an upcoming live-action series that aims to continue the story of Star Wars Rebels following the animated show's thrilling cliffhanger ending.
How Sabine Wren Returns For Ahsoka Star Wars Rebels concluded with Ezra Bridger sacrificing himself for his home world of Lothal by summoning the assistance of the interstellar creatures known as the Purrgil to transport Grand Admiral Thrawn to unknown space. Right before he leaves, he tells Sabine that he's counting on her. However, the meaning of his message remained a mystery to her for years.
With Ahsoka's first live-action episode on The Mandalorian focused on her desire to find Thrawn, Sabine will likely be the titular's character main partner in the Ahsoka series. However, many have speculated that Bordizzo's first appearance as the character will come in The Mandalorian season 3 as the season may focus on the reclamation of Mandalore.
