Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said this applied to all levels of the supply chain including logistics and operations, such as shops selling fertilisers and product packaging factories.
“We know and understand that the public needs fresh produce so there is no hindrance whatsoever to the delivery of agricultural products or their operations,” he said at a press conference today. “People are still crowding the market and not practicing social distancing. So we decided for police and the armed forces to be stationed there to ensure adherence to the standard operating procedures.”
