Putrajaya Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah dan Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Hajah Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah, mengucapkan takziah kepada ahli keluarga mangsa yang meninggal dunia akibat Covid-19.

Dalam kenyataan hari ini, Datuk Pengelola Bijaya Diraja Istana Negara Datuk Ahmad Fadil Shamsuddin berkata, Seri Paduka turut menzahirkan harapan agar rakyat Malaysia terus berdoa bersama baginda memohon ihsan Allah supaya usaha-usaha membendung wabak Covid-19 dirahmati, diberkati dan situasi dapat ditangani serta berakhir dengan segera.

Malaysia mencatatkan 673 kes Covid-19 sehingga semalam dengan Menteri Kesihatan Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba mengisytiharkan kematian pertama akibat wabak itu, membabitkan dua lelaki. Keberangkatan baginda berdua di CPRC disambut Menteri Kesihatan Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba, Timbalan Menteri I Datuk Dr Noor Azmi Ghazali dan Timbalan Menteri II Datuk Aaron Ago Dagang.
