Agong concerned with Covid-19’s economic impact, people’s welfare

INTERNATIONAL Trade and Industry Minister Mohamed Azmin Ali was granted an audience with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah today to brief and update the king on measures taken by the government to mitigate the effect of Covid-19 on the economy and welfare of the people.
Comptroller of the Royal Household of Istana Negara Ahmad Fadil Shamsuddin said through the 30-minute video conference at Istana Negara, his majesty was briefed on the roles and measures taken by the International Trade and Industry Ministry following the announcement of the movement-control order which took effect from March 18.
