AGL’s Chief Executive is warning household electricity bills will rise from July on the back of increased wholesale prices.

The Australian Energy Regulator will release its draft decision on how much electricity prices can increase on Wednesday.

The pending price rise puts pressure on the Albanese government to address the cost of living ahead of the federal budget in May.
