Marvel Agents of SHEILD star transforms into Arthur Pendragon in first-look images for ITVX's The Winter King
Marvel Agents of SHEILD star Iain De Caestecker is transformed into Arthur Pendragon in first-look images for a new series which retells the Arthurian legend.
Scottish actor Iain, who was the original Adam Barlow actor in Coronation Street, stars as Pendragon. The actor has also appeared in the films including Not Another Happy Ending, Lost River, and Overlord - but he's perhaps best known for his role of Leopold Fitz in the Marvel series Agent of SHIELD.Actor Nathaniel Martello-White, who also directed 2022 Netflix film The Strays, will play legendary Arthurian figure Merlin.
Other cast members include Daniel Ings as Owain, Ellie James as Nimue, Stuart Campbell as Derfel, Valene Kane as Morgan and Simon Merrells as Gundleus.
