SINGAPORE: An offshore vessel firm was fined S$18,000 after a 2023 ransomware attack on its servers allowed hackers to access the personal data of 5,906 people, including employees and their next-of-kin.

DPP Farah Ezlin Yusop Khan told Sessions Court Judge Suzana Hussin here on Friday that the AGC dismissed the representation filed by Mohd Rasyidi Mohd Said, 44, and Datuk Roy, on Thursday .‘Datuk Roy’ denies RM2.4mil briberyAt Friday's proceeding, which was fixed for case mention, Mohd Rasyidi and Datuk Roy, whose real name is Mohd Hussein Mohd Nasir, 55, were represented by lawyer Ariff Azami Hussein.
The offence was allegedly committed at a restaurant in Bangsar here between 9pm and 11pm on March 5 last year.
