Sugar Grove residents Jack and Denise Feltes over the past decade or so have made their way into a variety of TV shows and a few feature films.
Jack and Denise Feltes of Sugar Grove have appeared in a number of TV shows and films as extras.
“I have a burgundy Ford Fusion and my husband has a burgundy Honda CR-V and they were just the right colors the film people were looking for recently,” Denise Feltes said of a film shoot they took part in a few weeks ago.Television programs he has appeared in have included “Chicago Med,” “Chicago Fire” and “Chicago P.D.” and movies in which he has been an extra include “Gone Baby Gone” in 2007 and the 2018 film “Widows” with Viola Davis.
“I also was on set once with Samuel L. Jackson,” he said. “Another time I was with Spike Lee who was two feet away from me. Every day I worked with him he had a different pair of glasses on so that’s what I remember about him.” “Normally they tell you to bring three or four sets of clothes – you go through wardrobe and they will pick out what they want you to wear. Most of the time they’re happy with what you brought,” Jack Feltes said.Prior to their fledgling acting gigs, the couple lived different lives. Jack Feltes grew up on the popular farm known as Sonny Acres in West Chicago.“My mom and dad had eight boys and after the seventh boy was born – which was me – they named the farm Sonny Acres.
