The plot of After the Hunt revolves around Julia Roberts’ Alma Olsson, a college professor who “finds herself at a personal and professional crossroads when a star pupil levels an accusation against one of her colleagues, and a dark secret from her own past threatens to come to light,” per the logline of the movie. Andrew Garfield portrays Henrik Gibson, the accused colleague, and Edebiri plays the role of Maggie Price, the star pupil. The cast of After the Hunt also includes Michael Stuhlbarg as Frederik Olsson, Chloë Sevigny as Kim, as well as Lio Mehiel, Thaddea Graham, and Will Price in other supporting roles. Nora Garrett penned the script for After the Hunt, and it is her first feature as a writer.
