As of today, there are more than 91,000 total confirmed cases of COVID-19 in California prisons and 260 people have died from the virus, according to theSuchi Branfman pauses our conversation over Zoom, in early January, and notes that the number increased from 259 to 260 since she last checked the CDCR online tracker two days ago.
