After spell of warmish weather, rain returns to Bay Area forecast

The San Francisco Bay Area has been bathed by sun in recent days, and the spring weather is forecast to persist through the weekend.

A chance of rain returns to the forecast next week, the National Weather Service said.

Brayden Murdock, a forecaster with the weather service, said coastal locations will be breezy from midafternoon into the evening. “Like 25 mph gusts or so,” he said. “Not the strongest of the strong.”
