3 seed. The Eagles will play the No. 6 San Francisco 49ers at 3:30 p.m. CST Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. Two weeks earlier, the Eagles defeated the Commanders 29-18. Had Philadelphia beaten Washington again, the Eagles would have been the No. 2 seed in the NFC postseason field instead of the Chicago Bears, who ended their regular season with a 19-16 loss to the Detroit Lions on Sunday. The Bears open the playoffs against the No. 7 Green Bay Packers at 7 p.m. Saturday at Soldier Field in Chicago. The Packers have a 9-7-1 record after losing their past four games and were beaten by Philadelphia 10-7 on Nov. 10. San Francisco has a 12-5 record after losing to the Seattle Seahawks 13-3 on Saturday night in a showdown to decide the No. 1 seed in the NFC playoffs. The No. 2 seed is assured of a home game in the second round if it wins in the first round.
