Residents in a condominium complex in Euclid , Ohio , are celebrating the restoration of their outdoor lights after months of darkness. Sharon Houser and Barbara Wainwright, residents of Benton Village Condominiums on 235th Street, reached out to 19 News Troubleshooters for help after the lights had been out since October, creating safety concerns for the residents, particularly the seniors.

They expressed worries about the lack of visibility during early winter nights, which obscured ice patches and uneven footing. The darkness also attracted wildlife, making it uncomfortable for residents to let their pets out at night. Thanks to the intervention of the 19 News Troubleshooters, an account issue was resolved, leading to a crew quickly restoring light to the parking area and streets. Houser described the feeling of validation and empowerment that came with the successful resolution, highlighting the collective effort of the residents and the Troubleshooters in bringing back the much-needed illumination
