Newest Bay Area shop opens daily at 7 a.m.
Boichik Bagels now has a third location in Santa Clara County, after the Peninsula’s Palo Alto one and the Santa Clara one. Boichik Bagels, hailed by the New York Times as some of the finest New York-style bagels in the nation, are now available in Los Gatos.
From 7 a.m. daily, the shop offers 15 types of bagels — most popular are the Everything, Eggything, Pumperthingle and Pumper Raisin Swirl — and unusual cream cheese flavors such as Hatch Chile, Horseradish Cheddar and the fall/winter creation, Honey-Date Tahini with a touch of sumac. Boichik also sells smoked salmon and house-made whitefish salad and makes sandwich combos.
