Five people were shot at residence in Wheeling early Saturday morning following a disagreement earlier at a restaurant in neighboring Prospect Heights, according to Wheeling police.
Around 5 a.m., Wheeling police were alerted to a residence in the 800 block of Fletcher Drive where multiple were shot. Police said five people were sent to area hospitals with gunshot wounds.
Upon investigation, police discovered the shooting was sparked by an argument at a restaurant in neighboring Prospect Heights. A group returned to a house on Fletcher that later was fired upon by suspects from outside, police said.Advertisement
