Andrew Chamings/SFGATEBay Area over the President's Day three-day weekend, but conditions are forecast to change next week with a cold storm poised to sweep the region Wednesday and Thursday, bringing widespread rain and low-elevation snow, the National Weather Service said.
"Sunday looks to be the warmest day of the weekend, and we could see temperatures up to about 5 degrees above average," Gass said. On Sunday, some locations in inland areas of the North Bay, East Bay and South Bay are likely to see high 60s, approaching 70 degrees.
