The free festival returns to Sefton Park this weekend
This year's festival follows the 30th anniversary year in 2022, as one of Merseyside's most picturesque green spaces will once again be filled with the music and culture of Africa, the Caribbean and the Diaspora. It consists of two free days of live music, workshops, DJ stages, food stalls and a range of traders in the Oyé Village.
In a statement on the website, Africa Oyé organisers said: “We discourage the use of BBQs inside the festival site as they can potentially damage the grass if they’re not used or disposed of responsibly.”
