That’s especially if Essendon tries to play hardball on a deal involving key defender Brandon Zerk-Thatcher and winger Xavier Duursma.the Bombers are more than happy to keep Zerk-Thatcher, having only gathered interest in former Power first-round pick Duursma because of their talks with Port Adelaide over the former.
With Geelong knocking back their offer of pick 25 for Esava Ratugolea, the Power may need the additional pick coming along with Zerk-Thatcher to then on-trade it and satisfy the Cats.
