SAN JOSE — A housing development that would bring well over 100 affordable homes to a site near the footprint of Google’s transit village in downtown San Jose is pushing ahead after a key real estate deal.

The overall project cost, including construction financing, is estimated to be $136.2 million, according to a post by a state panel set up by the California treasurer. A projected 102 units, or 67%, are being restricted to households making 30% or less of the area median income households; 16 units, or 10%, are restricted to 50% or less of area median income households; 35 units, or 23%, are restricted to 60% or less of area median income households.
