A parent allegedly assaulted an Austin ISD employee at Pickle Elementary School, causing injuries, while the employee was on duty.
Muriel Clamilla Wesley allegedly assaulted an Austin ISD attendance specialist , by grabbing her hair, slamming her to the ground, and punching her head approximately five times. A parent allegedly assaulted an Austin Independent School District employee at Pickle Elementary School last week, according to an arrest affidavit.
Muriel Clamilla Wesley, 39, is accused of assaulting an attendance specialist at the northeast Austin school on Thursday, April 18. The alleged assault occurred when Wesley entered the school office to sign her children out. A witness stated that Wesley became upset after the victim turned around and smiled at her. Wesley then reportedly went behind the front desk, grabbed the woman by her hair, and "slammed" her backwards onto the ground while she was still in her chair. The victim said she was also punched in the head approximately five times, court documents said.
