Afeela – jenama EV kerjasama Honda dan Sony, prototaip didedahkan di CES, bakal dijual pada 2026
Syarikat kerjasama Sony Honda Mobility akhirnya mendedahkan jenama kenderaan elektrik penuh yang bakal dijual dalam pasaran – memperkenalkan, Afeela. Nama tersebut diumum ketika berlangsungnya acara tahunan CES yang diadakan di Las Vegas, serentak bersama pendedahan prototaip pertama Afeela.
Laporan itu turut menyebut bahawa EV dari Afeela akan dijual dengan harga kompetitif untuk berhadapan jenama-jenama premium seperti Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Volvo, dan Audi. Ia juga menambah Sony menjangkakan perisian yang ditawarkan nanti adalah menerusi servis langganan, jadi pemilik-pemilik Afeela mungkin perlu untuk membayar yuran bulanan bagi perincian-perincian tertentu.
Kali pertama Sony menunjukkan minatnya untuk terjun ke industri automotif adalah pada CES 2020, di mana ia memperkenalkan model konsep Vision-S. Kereta tersebut dipadatkan dengan pelbagai kamera, skrin, kebolehan pemanduan autonomi, serta perkhidmatan penstriman untuk katalog multimedia Sony dan keupayaan untuk menyambungkan konsol permainan PlayStation.
