A Swiss-German startup has raised $4.25 million for its preventative healthcare platform.
Swiss-German startup AERA Health is tapping into the burgeoning field of preventative medicine and longevity — tailing Spotify founder Daniel Ek'sHealth issues that could be prevented cost the European healthcare systems billions of dollars annually, said cofounder and CEO Tim-Ole Pek. To combat this, AERA Health identifies serious health conditions before they set in and create greater strain on healthcare systems, he added.
These plans range"from baseline health optimizations through to next-generation longevity plans," Pek said. Individuals have access to three tiers of packages, ranging from a baseline plan that offers a basic health assessment and treatment, to the signature package, which gives all-inclusive access to all of AERA's services,
