One winner from each of Arizona’s 15 counties will receive an Arizona Centennial sign for their school. The designated school administrator or official will submit their school’s essay nomination as an attachment to the entry form at the bottom of this page. Hand-written essays may be scanned and attached in a PDF format. The essay submission deadline is midnight, Jan. 31, 2023. Essays submitted from each participating school will be judged by a panel of ADOT employees based on originality, creativity, unique writing style and descriptive language.
