A family in Highland Heights, Ohio shares their heartwarming story of adopting a playful cat named Sushi from Community Cats. Sushi quickly bonded with the family's other pets and brought endless joy with his loveable nature and unique ability to play fetch.

Sushi is sometimes a little silly!HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ohio -- We adopted Sushi from Community Cats in November, and he has been such a fun addition to our family!

Our other pets – Bean, a 4-year-old black cat, and Cooper, an 11-year-old pit bull mix -- immediately fell in love with Sushi, as did our entire family. He is loveable, playful and loves to play fetch. Yes, a cat who plays fetch! We saw him at PetsMart in Willoughby, and I knew immediately that he was “the one.” I don’t know much about his back story, only that he was in foster care with Community Cats.

The foster family did a great job of getting him ready to live in a house with other pets; there was virtually no transition time -- it was truly love at first sight.Thank you to Community Cats for all you do to help place cats in loving homes.Do you share your life with an animal that is near and dear to you? Tell us something about your pet - all species are welcome - and send along a photo of the two of you.anorman@cleveland.
