South Australian charity Can:Do 4Kids has reached a notable milestone, marking 150 years of helping children living with hearing or vision impairments to reach their full potential.
It later became Townsend House before finally adopting its current name in 2019 following a merger with the Cora Barclay Centre.
"I noticed that I'm different and everyone else in the world is different so I can be different," he said. "Technology, for example we have a fantastic sensory room here in our Hindmarsh centre for children with low vision," CEO Lester Wynne-Jones said.
