Instead of a groundbreaking, work at a new Addison apartment project has started with a tree moving.is building its 419-unit Amli Tree House rental community on Midway Road. As part of the project, the builder is relocating several mature trees from the property to a new city park. And Amli is planting another 350 trees on the building site and in the adjacent park.
“We’re committed to creating one of the most beautiful live-work-play destinations in North Texas, and in turn, revitalizing this underinvested corridor,” Amli Development president Taylor Bowen said in a statement. “Amli Tree House is a great example of integrating quality environmental design into a residential community and creating well-curated community enhancements via a significant public-private partnership.
